Meet Hadiya Jackson
How long have you been teaching for?
I have been teaching for four years. However, I have seven overall years of experience working in the academic arena.
What is your favorite class to teach?
My favorite class to teach is probably second grade. I love their enthusiasm for life, their honesty, and their constant discovery of independence through learning. It’s always amazing to see life through the eyes of an eight-year-old.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
My favorite part of teaching is the relationships that I have the privilege of building with each student and their families.
Who was your favorite teacher as a child?
I was homeschooled through elementary and high school so my favorite teacher, most definitely, was my mom.
What do you look most forward to about teaching at Grace Academy?
I am excited to be a part of the beginning of a hybrid program that is dedicated to grounding the next generation in the truth of Scripture and partnering with parents in the education of their precious treasures.
