Admissions

Grace Academy is currently enrolling for the 2023–2024 academic year. Although Grace Academy anticipates having grades K–8 for the upcoming year, applications will be accepted for grades K–12, with additional grades potentially offered based on interest and campus capacity.

  • Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by December, 2023.

  • Students in grades 1–6 are expected to have demonstrated commensurate academic progress and satisfactory classroom behavior.

  • The teaching parent must be a member in good standing (or the equivalent) of a Bible-believing, evangelical church.

Overview of Enrollment

1. Apply

An online application form must be completed for each student. Before beginning the application, be sure to have the following information ready:

  • Student academic history

  • Parent educational background and experience with homeschooling

In addition, take time to read Grace Community Church's Doctrinal Statement and be ready to describe your family's church involvement, as well as affirm parental responsibility for at-home instruction.

We recommend setting aside 10–30 minutes to complete the application, as the application form cannot save your progress.

2. Family Interview

The family interview is an opportunity for Grace Academy staff to get to know students and parents better, as well as review program expectations and sponsorship information. The interview takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Interviews will take place after review of your application. It is necessary that both student and parents are in attendance.

3. Student Assessment

Incoming students will be assessed regarding grade placement and academic progress. Specifics of the assessment process vary by grade, and families will be contacted to schedule a student assessment following the family interview.

4. Admissions Decision

Following a review of all application materials, families will be notified of an admissions decision. To secure enrollment for your student, an initial registration fee (10% of annual tuition) must be paid to ensure priority enrollment.

5. Orientation and Enrollment Forms

Admitted Grace Academy students and their families will be invited to an orientation meeting. This meeting will review policies and procedures, expectations, and important details for the 2023–2024 academic year. This is also an exciting opportunity to meet other Grace Academy families.

6. Pay Enrollment / Tuition Fee

Following payment of the initial registration fee, families will be responsible for remitting tuition payments according to their elected payment plan.

*Student sponsorships, scholarships and volunteer work will be available to potentially offset fees. Further details on sponsorships and scholarships will be provided when available under the “Support” tab.
