This fall, The Master's University will begin offering tutoring to students in grades 6–12. Our one-on-one tutoring with competitive pricing is offered in 12-week formats and taught by qualified and committed TMU tutors.
Students often view education as unrelated to the things they really care about, which can leave them discouraged and disengaged. But at TMU, our tutors study subjects deeply and passionately as an expression of their love for the Lord. Our tutors desire to help students see the connection between their current studies in the classroom and the things the students care about most. Through individualized sessions, our tutors guide students to take their classroom knowledge and use it to develop discernment, enabling students to think critically and engage proactively with the issues of everyday life. Because our tutors’ own education at TMU is designed to build wisdom in all areas of life, they are well-equipped to apply that same holistic view of education to tutoring.
In addition to one-on-one tutoring, we also host and organize workshops on topics that are relevant to every student. These workshops are made available by request, and can deal with topics such as writing, grammar, time management, study skills, and college preparation.
